I painted this a few years ago. Can't remember who sculped or produced it.

That is the original Death Dealer 3 before Frank did the revised version.

This will be the first time this version will be available as a collectible statue. The pictures below are a quick mockup of the actual sculpture, still a work in progress.

Looks great, but I have one question. Will the kit come with both head/helmet options, or will it be narrowed down to only one before production begins?

Mr. Yagher is finishing up on the sculpt as we speak.

If all goes well, we are aiming for the end of the year.

There is a lot to like in this take , but face it , anyone fighting Maile, or lamellar armor that long, would be on the ground.
Every time I hear 'thats the way Frank painted it', I cringe...Sometimes the painting does not translate to sculpture the way you
might hope.

If you click the image of the original art, it displays the detail, and you can see by the left foot that the coat of maile,
does not extend as long as the body. 'Just my opinion', but I think the final version would look much better with a separation in the middle of
the Maile both front and back. Frazetta's work ,in this case, is open to interpretation, and you can't tell if there is a split or not.

You're misinterpreting the painting. The fog coming off the swamp gives an illusion the chain mail ends but it doesn't.
