Blue Oyster Cult "Tainted Blood" Music Video Question

Here's a link to a music video for the song "Tainted Blood" by Blue Oyster Cult. It's off the album "The Symbol Remains" that was released in October of last year. If you haven't heard it, do yourself a favor and give it a try on YouTube. It was worth the 20 year wait for a new BOC album.

My question is, what is the name of the vampire film they used out-takes from to make the video? It feels like I should know it, but I can't place it. All my research has turned up is that it was made in Italy during the 60's.

Thanks for giving it a shot even if you couldn't name the movie. It looks like total schlock, but sometimes those are the most fun! I highly recommend the new BOC album. There's a little something there from every stage of the band's career so far. The newer band members are all really talented, and they've been playing together long enough (pre-Covid) to sound really good as a unit. I just think it's a great album!

On another note related to BOC, The band's original drummer, Albert Bouchard, recently released his own independently recorded version of the BOC album "Imaginos." Fans should know that album was originally meant to be an Albert Bouchard solo album of material mostly written by Sandy Pearlman. Thanks to the label, it ended up being a "sort of" BOC album featuring the entire band in limited appearances, and a lot of guest musicians. The track listing was also arranged differently than Albert intended, and some songs were dropped entirely. Well, Albert's gone into the studio, along with some good musicians, re-recorded every track, and released it the way he wanted it to be. It's available on CD, and on YouTube, and worth a listen. But, fair warning, it won't be for everyone. Even fans (like me) that really liked the official release (a lot of fans didn't) will have a hard time adjusting to the new arrangements, and Albert's voice is kinda thin and reedy. It works okay for some songs, but not so much on others. I will say that it has a sinister, somewhat gothic overall tone to it that's grown on me since the first time I listened to it, and it's something I think true fans will find interesting.

I don't know the name of the vampire film, but from the sets and the look of the actors, it looks like a Mexican film to me. I've seen a number of Mexican horror films, and they have a distinctive "look".

I get that too, but I wonder if it's the vampire equivalent of a spaghetti western?
