Munsters Living Room Nameplate

#1 Post by BobbysMonsterModels »

Hey all,

Just wanted to share. Tim Fortuna made me a real nice Munsters Living Room nameplate awhile back and I just got around to painting it and mounting it to my kit. I built and painted this model back in 2006. I always felt it needed a nameplate. I mentioned this to Tim and gave him the size. He angled the nameplate so it sits real nice on the model. I drilled a small hole in the bottom of the nameplate, epoxied a small styrene rod into it, let it dry, snipped it off at the length I needed and sanded it a bit. I then drilled a hole into the floor of the model and glued the nameplate into it nice and solid.

Thanks Tim! It turned out great. I used neon green enamel:

That looks perfect. Don’t know why they left off a nameplate for this kit. It’s what it needed. Looks complete now.

Another 'Homer' hit by Tim. This one might be his most impactful nameplate yet! Takes the kit to another level completely! 🤩😍👀⚡
