SF couple

#1 Post by modellierer »

SF for science fiction or space fantasy

I took a break from building garage kits and trained my sculpting skills. Frazetta is known for his barbarians but he also did erotic paintings and drawings. This sculpt is based on one of his pen and ink drawings. It's done in SuperSculpey, 1:7 scale.

Thanks for looking.

Looks really good.
Is that the actually color of the supersculpey?
I am really out of date--I remember the orangey color.
Is it strong?
Maybe I should get some.
Looks more dense than I remember it to be.

Beautiful work.
Helena is here at hand;
And the youth, mistook by me,
Pleading for a lover's fee.
Shall we their fond pageant see?

Thank you KelE, Loborex, Tony and Stormheart

I used SuperSculpey firm. There are so many Frazetta-paintings waiting to be sculpted.

That's good work. I love seeing statues of Frazetta artwork.

That turned out great! I would encourage you to tackle another.

When I saw the title of the thread, I assumed that SF = San Francisco.

Your sculpt was a pleasant surprise! 8)

Man, that is cool. Reminds me of walking through a comic bookstore as a child.

That looks awesome. Those proportions and muscle definitions are just perfect. Any chance of getting a better shot of their faces?
