.. I simply upload my images directly to the PostImages site ( https://postimages.org/ ) and then add them to the CH by cutting and pasting the information contained in the header "Hotlink for forums:"

Just a suggestion..
This is a good suggestion. Using this method images are displayed in their posted size rather than as thumbnails.

I am sure you are correct, except it would be phpBB (forum software), as Piwigo is just the software used for the gallery.
Yes, of course, thanks Trevor.

Oh great - now I'M the one that has to figure it out! ](*,)

My site isn't HTTPS because I don't keep anyone's information on it and any money transactions just go through PayPal and don't touch my site.

The Clubhouse's old software wasn't HTTPS, either. It must be the new software that objects to my site.

Oh, well.

But wait a minute - I can see them fine.

I haven't figured out the problem, but it must be with the browser settings of the individuals who can't see them, since I can see them; maybe it is security-related. If it was any kind of a Clubhouse software problem, none of us would be able to see them.

I'm going back to bed.... :morning:

I'm sorry you're having this problem Tim.

I think Spock's point that if the only issue you have is this hotlinking into the CH then using the post image option is a very low effort solution.

If you want to pursue this, I think it's curious that hotlinking to images from Buc's site (not from sites that he links to) also don't display for many and that he is able to see your hotlinked images in the forum when others can't. Example: Image (http://www.bucwheat.com/viperdio.jpg)

Rather than it being an issue with browser settings it may be a hosting domain issue. The HTTPS version of the content may already exist on your host, and perhaps they can change some settings for your site. If the secure version does exist, alternatively they can give you instructions for how to modify your site appropriately. If a HTTPS version does not exist there are coding workarounds, but they may require a lot of effort. If you wish to press on with this, then I would certainly contact them for advice.

This is only my musings at extreme distance. I hope it is of some help.

I do hope that your attic is climate controlled...
Me too
I need to go up and look.
What really sucks is that I had a lot of Mego stuff and can't find it anywhere.
It isn't in the attic--but I don't know what happened to it.
I fear to think what happened.
