A 1:350 REFIT

#1 Post by JOHN ROBINSON »

Here are some examples of my personal 1:350 Refit Enterprise as it appeared in Star Trek the motion Picture. Again, the model was totally airbrushed. For the aztec king, I used four iridescent paints over a flat white base coat. The Iridescent paints were red, gold, green, and blue. Photo etch enhanced the shuttle bay and numerous areas around the model. I replaced the totally inaccurate bridge area with a new one. It has full lighting and sound. Ive attached a couple videos as well.

Thanks,
Mark

I found myself zooming into the windows and the shuttle bay to see if I could see anyone inside. 😳😳😳

Suspension of disbelief complete. BRAVO! 🥳💥🎉🥰

Video was even more amazing! Showed it to my wife who is an original Star Trek fan, but not a hobby model interested type person, and she had a one word response after seeing it: "COOL". 😁 Coming from her, that is indeed a word of high praise! 🛸
