Why no styrene Icarus/Liberty1?

#1 Post by ManInJapan »

Just asking. There have been several resin kits of the iconic spaceship from Planet of the Apes but none in injection plastic.
Is it cost or copyright or both?

I'm just going to guess that when you're talking about planet of the apes, well, people don't think of a spaceship. 😁

So probably, no company wanted to take a chance of spending a whole lot of money to create metal molds for a styrene kit that might not sell well enough to make a profit. 🤔
