2025-04-01; new pics page 4; started painting the new base
2025-03-31; new pics page 4; adding more skulls, bones, and weapons to base. Put on primer.
2025-03-30; new pics page 4; adding details to base
2025-03-29; new pics page 4; working interlocking bases
2025-03-27; new pics page 4; working on connecting piece for bases
2025-03-26; new pics page 4; making the base wider and taller
2024-12-16; new pics page 4; finished
2024-12-10; new pics page 3; working on final details
2024-11-30; new pics page 3; continuing to detail the spikes
2024-11-24; new pics page 3; adding some contrast to the paint scheme
2024-11-18; new pics page 3; prepping spikes and teeth for detailing
2024-11-17; new pics page 2; continuing painting
2024-11-14; new pics page 2; started painting
2024-10-01; new pics page 2; continuing to add spikes to arms
2024-09-27; new pics page 2; continuing to refine and add details to tail, thighs, shoulders, arms and claws
2024-09-22; new pics page 1; threw on some primer to see it all tied together
2024-09-19; new pics page 1; adding spikes to tail
2024-09-15; new pics page 1; modified neck, arms , and tail

Modifying Demigorgon 3d printed model from Lord of the Print and significantly enlarged for me by Magecraft miniatures

Removed the tongues, will sculpt new shorter tongues
Slimmed down neck and under jaw
Instead of tentacle arms , using heavily modified forearms and claws from Xenomorphus Rex kit
Extending tail using one of the arms tentacles from this print

Just roughed in these change to start, lots of refining and detailing to do
Trying something different, since the legs are double jointed, I am making arms double jointed too…not sure if I will keep this design…

I am not sure this is exactly a lot easier than the dueling dragons bash, but if you say so ... :alcoholic:

Agree with replacing the tentacles with the arms. The obvious tail extension with one of the tentacle arms is a good call. :thumb2:

Is that guy riding the critter opposite one of your earlier bashes? That looks a lot like a critter that I remember you bashing into something in the last couple of years ... 🤨

And unpainted too I note. 😁 Because, of course, you're waiting to finish bashing this antagonist before you paint them BOTH - right? 🎃

The paintbrush is your friend, Joe. (And mine.) 😂

Nothing wrong with the original, but I sure like your mods.

As for paint brushes, well, I never met one who was a friend....

Thanks Vlad!

Added some more spikes along the thigh muscles to tie the leg design into the back and tail .

Adding all these spikes is a very slow and tedious process (and so is painting them!) but I think they really make a difference.

Fantastic. Yes, I think you're right about the spikes. Absolutely worth it.

A lack of visual interest and attitude is not something your bashes can ever be accused of... In this case the term "hyperaggressive" comes to mind. What a nasty SOB this beastie is.

Great work so far.

Wait what? He has two heads? 😳 How in blazes did I miss that before? 🤣

I agree with everyone else, the spikes really give it both visual interest and a nasty edge! 👍

Threw on some primer to see it all tied together.
Still some refining and detailing to do.

Looking good Joe. :thumb2:

PS you know of course you make me nervous every time you put one of your huge bashes on that ledge! 👀😁

Now I will do the same thing sometimes on the railing of the deck in the back. However that's a drop of maybe 6 ft into grass, and the vast majority of my kits that I take out there are vinyl, which is a lot more forgiving. 😂
