What I Am Up To ... He He He ...

Undoubtedly, you've noticed I've been on a tear reviving older threads the past few days .... yes, its not an accident ... there are 'multifold' reasons for my actions ...

First, I had a bit of time on my hands, you know, being a week away from home, especially given the 12-hour drive in each direction. I am dictating this as we're passing through beautiful heavily wooded Central Arkansas heading South.

No, I am not driving. I am passengering. So stop worrying!

Anyhow, I'm taking a little bit of time to go through threads that I missed completely the first time around, and see some of the amazing works displayed in each one.

It's far more soothing than going on social media, for example.

I am also doing it to be a productive citizen of the clubhouse, by stirring up interest. As I suspected, many other members missed those same threads, and are now chiming in on them too..

Keeping this sane and wonderful corner of the hobby alive and going forward is my main goal..

However. Allowing for my admittedly daffy/eccentric nature, some may still wonder if none-the-less something is afoot.

Well, something IS.

Back in the day, in the 2000s, when I was first really active on here, I averaged almost two posts per day. In the early teens however, life interfered, I stopped modeling for a few years, and while I dropped into the clubhouse fairly regularly, my per day posting average eventually dropped to just under half a post per day. Disappointing.

However, about 2017 I made my comeback which continues through today. And when I finally got logged into the clubhouse on my phone just 2 years ago, I decided to make it back to a one post per day average by the time of my 20th anniversary on here.

That anniversary is this September. And all it's going to take is a little less than two and a half posts per day til then.

And, with this 'hack' that I hit on yesterday, its probably going to happen even sooner!!!

Best of all, I'm doing my little bit to keep this place active.

So, carry on y'all.

Wow. I just hit 200 posts within the past 24 hours.

Had no idea that I had missed so many amazing threads and builds ... just damn!

BOOM!!! After 275 posts in the last 26 hours (hey - being a passenger on a 12 hour drive can get boring, what can I say?) I have reached my goal, three and a half months early!

My profile now says 1.00 posts per day.

Seriously, I was shocked at how many great threads I have missed! I'm still in 2021, with 2020 to go. As we were working 7 days a week, and then moving during those pandemic years, I'm sure I will find a lot more cool kit threads to revive for the memberships enjoyment.

I am guessing, and it appears to be borne out by what I'm finding, due to the lockdowns the number of models being posted, as well as the number of threads went well up from the average just before, and since. Trevor might be able to confirm, but I'm pretty sure this is the case, cause it's logical.

And with the impending WonderFest posting slowdown, The Clubhouse needs some content. (Just wait till I finish my air conditioning installation in the garage, and get back to painting! )

I wondered where all those resurrected post were coming from. You certainly have unearthed some pretty neat stuff.

It didn't occur to me that you might be behind it 'cause you pretty much comment on everything anyway. I reckon it's going to be easy for you to hold down at least that 1.0 average from here on in.
