brand new pix , the very first doctor

ok kids for some time now i have had this brainfart.
i wanted to do a set of customised 1/6 scale action figures.
but not just any group i wanted to do the incarnations of doctor who.
wewll i kept putting it off becouse the prospect of sculpting likenesses scared the hell out of me. it still does but as they say the only way to conqure fear is to work threw it .
that having been said i present the first custom head skulpt for my group.
i give you william hartnell.

i know the pix are rubbish but i will try to shoot some better ones tomorrow

I'm not familiar with this actor, but it looks good to me. Do you have a profile shot of the actor to compare with your sculpt?

Gotta love Dr. Who.

The sculpt looks fantastic thus far. In the photo, the width of the mouth appears o be wider than how it looks in your representation...but I think its more the angle of the actor's head in the photo.

Can't wait to see this painted up.

iv'e spent a little more time tightening up the likeness .
so what do you think ?
its pretty close to done at this point .
now all i gotta do is bake and paint

good news guys , the silicone molding rubber is on the way .
it should be on my doorstep anyday now .
i also should recieve some casting resin .
so it wont be very much longer till i can start to produce these .
if you are interested in one please pm me so i know how many i should make .
the next one in the series will be pat troughton. ,
eeeeee gods i hope i have enough reference to sculpt him

just to prove to myself that the likeness isnt an accident .
