My Custom Randy Bowen Samurai Predator

#1 Post by adegregorio »

First, it's nice to be here among fellow resinheads. Second, I wanna say "HEY" TO ALL THE KATS AT "THE HIVE".. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE  You may have seen this kit on other sites. I wanted to post my skills here as well. This is my first post. Here is my version of a Samurai Predator. It took about a month and a half to complete. I Gave his skin a lizard/iguana reptilian look. I tried to give him all the characteristics of a samurai including a hair knot on his head. Used alot of red, like on his armor and cloth. Those are real steel blades from Japan. I used store bought beads an interlaced them in the hair and put little tiny gold loops at the ends. If you look on his back, he has 2 cylinders of spare blood. I even painted his cutting disk like a yin-yang for an asian feel. Used parts from different off the shelf figures to really bring this project all together. The base is made of wood and has fake grass and shrubs complete with artificial bonzai trees. The base also has a polytransparent river stream with large river rocks under the water. The helmet was customized to fit the large brass piece along with the cloth wrapped around it.

Here are the pics, CLICK ON THEM FOR LARGER VIEW...Comment if you want...ENJOY and THANKS FOR LOOKING :bgrin:
