Bowen FS Rhino custom

#1 Post by Danno »

Hey all,

I decided to have a small bit of fun and do a small bit of rework to my Bowen
Full Size Rhino sculpted by the Shiflett Bros.

Dispite all the hub-bub, I like this piece and it remains something special to me,
mainly as this was the first prototype that I had painted for Bowen Designs.
I made some simple changes.....mainly around the face opening. I had
widened the opening to show more cheek, then brought the hood down more
to cover his brow, and up to cover his lower lip area. I like the mouth as is, but
to make it different for me, I sculpted the classic Jack Kirby type sneer by
angling the upper down downward to his right. Some other minor mods here and
there and a fresh coat of paint.

Thanks for stopping by to peek!

Sweet work Danno!!! Hat off for having the balls to redo that piece. The subtle changes really make a difference.
