Yep - I've had good luck with kaijumodeler.com, too. Got the big 50 cm Paradise Godzi '54 from him a while back for $150, shipped. Don't know how he did that price, but I'm glad he did! :D

i dont know if he has more of these... he's at g-fest this weekend.

actually it was pretty funny when i got his email. i hadnt noticed the mention of this one in his e-mail at first, but there was another gmk godzilla listed. well i looked that one up on kaijukits, with my assistant looking at the screen over my shoulder. as we sere debating the pros and cons of the other one, i said to her "wanna see the gmk kit thats the real work of art among the batch?" and clicked on the daimos to show it to her. when i switched the window back to his email, i noticed the link (but didnt recognize the name) when i clicked on it... well... we kinda looked at each other knowing i was doomed to buy it.

by the way, scale wise godzilla is about 18 inches long, and the casting work is supurb. i am half tempted to leave it unpainted to show off the incredible sculpture work, depending how much the parts joins show.

yeah it wasnt a kit i was seeking out, but when it was available it was just one i couldnt let get away. i cant wait till tuesday (my day off) to build him. om going to get some clear plastic rod for the whale rahter than use brass.

also the photo of the buildup that was included has just exactly the sort of effect i was thinking of doing on my godzilla bust plaque kit, so as a bonus i got a guide for doing that!!!!

sure is... i am a very happy modeler.
this is the most expensive kit ive ever bought, other than the m-1 1989 godzilla 1:1 studio scale bust, and worth every penny. im champing at the bit to build it but forcing myself to wait till my day off, just to make it special.

im not griping about the cost. if an average figure kit is about $125.00, then the price on this guy was just about right, considering the size/ weight.

again, still debating displaying it unpainted. gawd thats a beautiful sculpt.

Ah yes, BUT... That good of a sculpt makes for a great (and easier)
paint job, since the majority of the painting is dry-brushing!!!
I'm 1/2 way done with the GowRow G-2000 Bust. Sculpt on this
one is so good it is practically painting itself. Hope to have it done
this week, we'll see. So I say.... Paint It!!! (just my opinion)
