WIP: Old School Football

#1 Post by jweber26 »

Hey guys...

I've been customizing McFarlane NFL sportpicks figures for a few years now. I've been lurking on this site for quite sometime and have only posted a few times. I can't remember if I've shown my work or not (maybe in the welcome wagon).

Anyways, here is my latest project.

Arnie Herber - Packers quarterback from 1930 to 1940. This was a customer request that I liked so much, I had to make one for my collection at the same time.

This is the most sculpting I've had to do with wrinkles and folds. I've been working in small sections, letting the apoxy cure and then working on a new section.

Any comments, critiques or tips are greatly appreciated.

Some of these folds are too big and will have to be sanding down. I figure it's easier to subtract than add.

Slowly but surely bulking him up and adding more wrinkles! Added the belt buckle.

Thank you for your comments. Sorry about posting in the wrong thread, I didn't see this section. This is perfect though!
