I’m relatively new to models; im on my 2nd sculpt so i thought id show you guys my current work in progress.... I’m hoping to learn more from you guys, the pro's, as time goes on! :-)
At the moment i'm sculpting my second 1:6 portrait and i choose Leonard Nimoy (as old Spock from the newest Star Trek film)
I’m learning new things almost every min I sculpt!!

Its not finished yet, i’m still working on the details but I think its heading in the right direction... :)

that answers my question (on ERIN topic...)

Made some sculpt myself, but no human character ...
I think real human face is the most difficult sculpt work !
Your work features an excellent old Leonard Nimoy likeness :thumb2:
impatient to see next step :hot:

Bought this Zachary Quinto young ST-XI spock few month ago

Your work will be a great STAR TREK XI characters add, if you want to market this one ...

Haha so true Vger! :-)

Im now aiming towards starting sculpting Spocks body this weekend. I was thinking of sculpting him in his dark grey outfit with the high collar but id really like to sculpt something more challenging. Like a space suit... Does any one know of something like that that would suit my Ambassador Spock head?

Any suggestions would be awesome!! Especially from any Star Trek fans! :-)

Thanks Vger!
Im hopeing to go for the space suit he wore in the jellyfish spaceship but i cant find any references to the full suit so im probabaly going to go for the black/grey suit he wears.
Should be a fun study of clothing! :)

I know, it's frequently the same problem, when I want to sculpt original Star Trek characters like: Shroomie, Xindi Insectoid, 8472 species, Big red delta vega creature, Alnschloss K'Bentayr,...
Often, very difficult to find reference. ](*,) (many hours of research in book and on web !)

Black/grey suit will be perfect ! :thumb2:
