Jam Hiatus (#129old #130new)

#1 Post by jedideni »

Greetings fellow Jammers, watchers and....ummmm....well, I guess that would pretty much cover everybody wouldn't it?

I'm going to be pretty busy for the next couple of weeks on a big project and I could use the mental break to recharge the ol' jam batteries. They're not going away forever, but I think some retooling is in order. It's hard to believe this all started about 8 years ago. That's a pretty good run, but they're feeling tired, worn out and old. Yes, I realize that happened long ago, but to quote Crewman #6 Guy Fleegman: "I'm just jazzed to be on the show!".

Right now I'm thinking the series has run its course and the cast and crew are anxious to move on to other projects. We'll most likely come back as large budget films every few years much like Star Trek: The Next Generation. Every other even #'d Jam will be pretty good while the odd #'d jams will continue to be overly long editions of regular, run-of-the-mill episodes. As we speak, I'm in contract negotiations with J.J. Abrams to take over in a few years with a whole new set of fresh-faced jammers and state of the art special fx. Just kidding. He wouldn't return my calls.

Anywho, see you in a few!

Sorry I didn't have the guts to join in till #126. I liked the idea and was looking forward to the next one. But I understand sometime things get old. I'll be keeping an eye out for any future Jams if they come back. Good luck on the Project. 8)
Thanks

I have failed you as a jammer. My goal was to use the jams as a learning tool and to get off my arse to sculpt and I am still working on two jams from February.
Take a break, I'll be here when the Pheonix arises again.

I'll have non of that talk! None I tell you! None!

Once I'm done with my "big project", I should actually be able to start participating in the Jams again. I can't really expect anyone else to Jam when I'm sitting on the sidelines watching everyone else. QB's win games, not cheerleaders. #-o

reckon the new jams need to be like the Golden Age ones with the Pro's; lots of banter and sillyness in addition to cool sculpts and friendly, honest critique.. :D

You know they sell over the counter remedies for those "big project" issues. Or you can just try more fiber in your diet.

Either way, get your business done and we'll all see you soon! Hey, I may go through "lurking" withdraw without a constant supply of Jams.

Well, hopefully it shouldn't be too much longer, I've called in the reinforcements to help me get this done a lot faster. I'll have pics once something is there.

Aweosme!

And if you need more reinforcements...remember Troy has his cast of clones. Maybe you could steal a few dozen of them away without him noticing.
