Greetings Gang!
Right then, got handed this with a build/paint/lightup brief which will be a giggle in a wierd sort of way.

The figure was sculpted from this artwork...

Image

Which is kinda different as monster/horror things of the model persuasion just really ain't me but anyway, it gave me a giggle when the idea was presented and job to do so kit parts looksee and whathaveyou are on the site at this page:

http://www.ianlawrencemodels.com/wipgr.html

As is, the figure is about 11" tall. An inch or two will be added because of the base and all the gear i'll have to pack in to it but we'll see how that goes.

Enjoy!

52 views and no posts saying how AWFUL this build is likely to be given Ian's dubious reputation and dodgy modelling skills :?: - geez you slackers . . . "GUILTY" :)

It seems like people are in a posting funk these days! I can certainly understand nobody wanting to post after gorging themselves on Thanksgiving food yesterday.

Thanks for pointing out that site, I will be doing a lot of looking there 8) I will be following this build, it looks like a pretty darn cool kit. Adding lighting to the skull would really be amazing :jam: I look forward to seeing this finished!

LOL - I can't help but have a HUGE smile on my face as I read Ian's articles - he makes this stuff sound so bloody easy and we all KNOW it isn't.

I couldn't even take the photo's let-alone drill through those pieces without screwing them up.

And as for the circuitry and lighting - well - I'm OK with an on/off switch but that's about my limit (although I'm not even sure about that since I've nearly electrocuted myself several times).
