It's all looking good.
It's always surprising how much room there is when you tidy up the work area. :D

Thanks guys. Thanks for the skin tone goes to the Groundeffected guy on YouTube. He's from the UK and has this "schtick" that he uses in his delivery that pretty humorous. Plus he's a very good painter, especially if you wanna learn *quick*. Should give his vids a look. Hey Kev, Really nic...

Marilyn !

Catching up with my posts we have Marilyn Monroe from the Suite Life Productions. The card that came with the kit indicates she's part of a potential series Girls on Film Part 1. Always good to see *not the same ol' thing* kits. She looks like she's about 1/5 scale and was a very nice 2 part casting...

Re: 1951 The Thing from another World

Nice. Love the green treatment and the piercing eyes. Did you use pastels at all? - has that look. Thanks, Steve. No pastels. I use a watered down Citadel wash, lo psi (~17) and very lights coats. Lots of passes and I think it makes my blending a little more even. I forget the name . They call it *...

1951 The Thing from another World

Another 1/5 scale from John Dennett. A very clean kit (as usual) with only the slightest hint of the seam line across the head. I gave it a "nice and easy" painting (maybe too easy) that there was no real spots for WIP pics. Thanks for looking. https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R...

Re: X-Plus Maria, Red Planet Rotwang & Frederson!

This film is definitely a top 10 for me. I was interested to find someone who built this, as I was watchng Lou Dalmasso, the Aztek Dummy guy, also build it. He too was having troubles with Rotwang (what sort of proper German mad scientist name is that?) ;) He solved the hair problem with epoxy sculp...

AWIL Nurse Price

Once again from the talented Gillman Productions comes Nurse Price from American Werewolf in London. Play by Jenny Agutter, the likeness is very good! The kit comes in 2 parts - the bust and the base. The figure is in 1/4 scale. This figure will also complete the trio with David and Jack. First thin...

Don't think I knew him, but it's always sad when another "resin head" departs for the next level of existence.
