Re: Wonderfest NRA 2024 (As usual, NSFW!)
My favorite though has to be the Indian princess with a long feather headdress!! 😍😍😍 That's actually a new kit offered by Brandow Lowe...he's starting a line of kits based on specific nose art designs from USAF aircraft...this is based on a B-24J converted to a F-7B (44-40198) of the 20th Combat Ma...

Re: Wonderfest NRA 2024 (As usual, NSFW!)
So a bit of explanation of the history of the "NRA". It used to be (years ago), that R-Rated kits were allowed in the main contest, but because of local municipal rules/ordinances, and given the fact that (and I'm not complaining about this at all) WF wanted to be a family friendly event, ...

Dealers Room map
Does anyone have a copy of the Dealers Room map from last June? I've got a friend on-line who saw a video on YouTube and is wondering who might have had a specific table...the video doesn't show the banner on the front of the table; in watching the video I can tell where the table was but have no re...

Re: Wonderfest 2022 photo's and stuffs
Does anyone have any information as to who makes the Pirate Girl kit seen in the contest? Unless I'm mistaken, the Pirate Girl is called Belladonna, and she's one of "Filmy's Girls" produced by Marc Havican at Space City Models. Stormheart- Thanks very much for the information, I apprecia...

Re: Tony Wootson's 2021 Wonderfest Show Report
No offense taken...I can totally understand the confusion; as when I first saw the kit my thoughts were the same; but as I noted, the sculpt and casting was sooooooo good that I had to have a copy. FYI, to the best of my knowledge there were only 15 copies made; and including my personal copy I've p...

Re: Tony Wootson's 2021 Wonderfest Show Report
So I just looked through your review; and thought I'd chime in about one of the comments you made in the Superhero picture section...Let me begin by recognizing that you said it was really well done (which I appreciate; as it was mine and in fact won a Gold), but you indicated that you had a persona...

Re: 'Morale Support' 1/6th WWII Pin-up Wings No 1
Chiming in quickly...great to see one of these being built...I sold them all (45); but thus far have only seen 4 including yours actually started or built. One clarification; yes it was sculpted by Roberto, but I was the producer, not the caster...the castings (other than the fuselage) were superbly...

Re: N.R.A. 2021?...nixed
I'm not privy to all the details regarding what & why, but from what little I do know of it, the individuals who took it over for the past couple years since Tom G. has been unable to come to WF, had some type of personal issue going on which precluded their WF attendance, and apparently it was ...

Re: head of Bat family : Batman
Is this kit still available....I would like to buy one, if anyone has info please let me know :like This was released about 6 years ago, the original plan was that there was going to be a rooftop “gathering” of Batman and his allies, hence the name “Head of the Bat Family”. A second companion kit o...

Re: 1/4 Scale 3D printed Female Superhero
OK, so I'm still curious as to the actual cost of the finished 1/4 scale piece...and from what I'm taking from all that legalese, is that what the rules are, is that you can't use the file that you bought to make an object to resell.
So what's to stop someone from doing it?

Re: 1/4 Scale 3D printed Female Superhero
So....I'm curious; and also not trying to stir the pot, but I have a couple questions... How much did it actually cost you for your 17 1/2" print? Specifically for the materials. My reason for asking is two-fold...first of all the whole process intrigues me, and as prices for hardware continues...

Re: Ad Astra
I saw a couple previews which didn't give away anything regarding plot, and was excited about what I saw...chose to go into it blind (so to speak). Walked out the same; mixed feeling. That being said, I'm still thinking about it 5 days later, so that tells me (personally) that it was good. You're ri...
