Re: The Bride
Great work! I enjoy seeing the red hair, which is difficult to imagine in a black and white film, but is definitely there in the color advertisements of the time.

I am also in awe of the way you paint the eyes on these kits. You mentioned that you painted 5 minute epoxy over the alien's eyes. My experience with 5 minute epoxy is that it typically sets with lots of bubbles locked in. How do you keep it bubble-free? I just use a brush , and make a thin layer ,...

I just recently acquired the movie on DVD -- love those Harryhausen films. Your diorama with the sphere kit is very well done -- like it's straight out of the flick!

Incredible likeness. The skin tones and facial hair shadowing add to the realistic effect. Awesome!

Painted beautifully! I agree that the lighting from below looks great in the bottom photo. It accentuates the 3D in the bas relief.

Re: The Creature from the Black Lagoon (Horizon)
I love the paint job and the photography, too! Although the Creature movies were in black and white, it's fun to imagine in a paint scheme what colors would go well with the amphibious nature of the Gill Man. Great choices! And I also agree that the lips don't have to be red. I like your more subtle...
