I just recently acquired the movie on DVD -- love those Harryhausen films. Your diorama with the sphere kit is very well done -- like it's straight out of the flick!

I love the paint job and the photography, too! Although the Creature movies were in black and white, it's fun to imagine in a paint scheme what colors would go well with the amphibious nature of the Gill Man. Great choices! AZ mentioned the Bondo glazing and spot putty above. I also found that I like it better than Squadron -- doesn't crumble as easily, and you can even smooth it on the surface over a bubble hole or crack with your fingers to get it fairly level before going over it with very fine sandpaper to finish t...
