You did a really fine job on this build Denis! The mods look great and your paint work is stellar! I'm glad that you got to be the first builder of the "CRD'. For those of you that are interested the kit is still available. FOr kit info and pricing please visit: http://starlightingprojects.com/...

A great rendition! Most of the time this character and kit are done in grey with plain white eyes. Your brown tan color choice is perfect and the eyes take it over the top. Excellent work.

Re: The reason I haven't been as active lately.

That's great news Trevor! Hope you have a great new modeling space. Be careful when removing wall paper.. You just might find classic movie posters behind it! ;-) Its fun moving into a new/old place. You just never know what might have been hidden in the crawl spaces, attic and nooks and crannies of...

Re: Led question

If you are using resistors, one dropping resistor per led is the correct method I agree with the 'by the book' approach to using resistors but in my experience it is somewhat less important when using batteries. Two fresh alkaline AA batteries will work fine for white (3.0-3.4) leds. Unlike a power ...

Re: R.I.P. Mr. Tom Parker

Sad news.. Tom was a really good guy and I always enjoyed talking with him at hobby shows. The stuff he produced was top notch and his passing will leave a huge void in the heart of our hobby.

There's also a b&w version for those that prefer their monsters with a classic feel:

Very interesting take! It's so cool to see a builder take one of my kits and turn it into a canvas for something new.
