Re: Bride of Frankenstein -- alterations?
Thanks so much, Jeff, for responding -- and confirming my suspicions about the width being lost in production. I'm still figuring out some method of reworking the piece and preserving your sculpt at the same time. It is a fantastic kit -- and I'm simply trying to do justice by it.

Re: Bride of Frankenstein -- alterations?
Not sure what I'm going to do. That's part of why I posted --I'm looking for suggestions for a "fix."

Re: Bride of Frankenstein -- alterations?
Note this is in no way meant to be a criticism of Yagher's sculpt. I suspect the prototype head originally looked more like my Photoshop "fix" and suffered some shrinkage in styrene production. As for the Bride's hairline and Frankie's clean clothes -- those I suspect are victim's of the l...

Bride of Frankenstein -- alterations?
Just got my Moebius BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN kit -- and it's remarkable -- one of the best styrene kits ever. But I do still have a quibble or two. The Bride's forehead isn't pronounced enough and her hair line too low -- easily fixed. Likewise Frankie's outfit needing to be distressed a bit. No biggie...

Very nice job on a rare kit! I'm lucky enough to have one as well. I'm always afraid of losing the cigarette/holder or breaking the umbrella handle anytime I move the thing!

Re: The Beatles... Revell Originals
Very nice! I have a set of these that I restored some years back -- build ups that had been long covered in sloppy enamel paint -- but several moves later, some are in pieces and need fixing. I have that drum kit in the box -- but don't know if I'll ever build it -- so many teeny little pieces!!!

Re: Why did I think Stacey Keach was dead?!
My friend and frequent comics collaborator Max Allan Collins recently wrote and produced two new Mike Hammer "radio novels" (amped-up audio books) starring Keach as Hammer. Keach did the music for them as well as playing Mike (Volumes 2 and 3 of the series). Keach has also done the audio b...

Re: Your Most Valuable Comic Book??????????
I used to have a lot of early Marvels, including some first issues -- all gotten for a song as a kid at a small town antique shop in southern Illinois (5 cents each!!!). Avengers#1, Daredevil #1, Spidey #2, X-Men #2 -- most of the early Annuals, TOS #39. Sold them when they started to be worth some ...

Tweeterhead's KIMBA THE WITCH
Just in time for Halloween. I didn't like the cat or broomstick topper included in the kit -- so I didn't use them. Added a bat from a reissue Aurora Customizing Kit. The only colors used were black, white and orange -- with a touch of silver for details. I wanted to evoke the feel of vintage Hallow...

Re: My Green Lantern build up -- out in nature....
Thanks again, folks. As for the box art, we were trying for something that'd look at home on a shelf with the Superboy and Wonder Woman Aurora (or Moebius reissue!) boxes. I leaned very heavily on early Gil Kane-drawn issue of GL for inspiration. The robot in my concept sketch is straight from one o...

My Green Lantern build up -- out in nature....
Took the time to do a quick build of the Moebius GL kit I designed -- and which sculptor Joe Laudati worked wonders on. I didn't even bother to fill seams, etc. Just wanted to get one built and on the shelf! Took it out in the back yard to get some "nature" shots! Here it is. http://farm7....
