Re: Twisty - Mark Van Tine sculpt

Thanks so much for all these super comments ... Loved doing this piece. I've been working on a very large scratch built at present and for weeks now. I haven't frequented our site for a bit, have to spend some time catching up, and checking out all the awesome work here. I've also been reviewing oth...

Re: Mighty Joe Young Finally Done

I love scratch-build's, looks like you had a blast doing this one. Great job overall, I'm in the process of making one too. I love the whole process, letting the elements meander from the mind ... So cool to experience. Yes, those flames are very well thought out. Thumbs up to ya ...

Re: Alien Bust by Francisco Charlie Hernandez

Thought I wrote about this one earlier today. Whatever ... I love it. The great thing about aliens is that you really can't go wrong with a paint-up. Ten artists paint it, ten completely different interpretations on the theme, all 100% right. Your's really knocked this one out of the park. Love thos...

Thanks for commenting. I love sharing ... I'm already dug deep into another project, can't say what it is, it's a show secret ... But I can say it's got something to do with models, a bunch of them, and a continuation of another tale I wrote and showed at another show, vague right ... Thanks again s...

OK ... She's one of the foxiest mermaids of all ... :bdrool: ... I've only painted a beautiful woman with another figure and I was kind of nervous 'bout doing it. It was fun, but I kept looking over my shoulder laughing, wondering is anyone was ogling at what I was painting. :) sily me You did one i...

Re: Twisty - Mark Van Tine sculpt

Creepy ... That's a mild word for Twisty. I gave myself a bunch of reference material to work with, I wanted to simulate that smeared on make-up and blood, and his manic look. I'm so glad you've latched onto these thoughts overall.

thanks for commenting

Twisty - Mark Van Tine sculpt

Hi had a blast doing ... It's good to be mad ... It's Mark Van Tine's wonderful sculpt of Twisty the clown. What's funniest, is that I've been naming all of the files as "Krusty the Klown" That's the clown from The Simpson ... Here's some images from my page, on my site ... http://themadmo...

Alien skin, no problem with that, since I'm from another galaxy myself, I'm familiar with the different looks around the galaxy.

Re: STONE MASONRY - GOTHIC DOORS

These shots are wonderful. I'm always on the hunt for reference material. Always building on my library of images. On the net, you key in what your looking for and say "Picture" "Images" like "Moon sky images" or "Starry Night Images" and up pops tons of ones ...

Sure guys, I'll do my best to answer. Sorry, I don't frequent the ClubHouse as much as I should. Scale, that's easy ... 1/8 scale, about 10" in overall height. All the elements in this piece are from Geometric Design. Most of which, can't be gotten any more ... I may have some odds and ends and...
