Not everything I do is a slam dunk - Elfin Archer 80MM

Howdy again, Clubhousers! Due to the shrinking shelf space in the JoeJoe Dojo, I've turned to trying my hand at 80MM figures - and what a challenge, coming down from 1/6 scale, and sometimes larger - and metal ones at that - This is Andrea's Elfin Archer, and toxphillites happen to be one of my favo...

BERNIE BASH!!! "Bury Christmas" and "I'm Back" zombie pieces

Hey there again my glue-sniffin' kom-rats ! Finished these early this year for a customer -who's a BIIIG Wrightson fan, and a fan of the zombie genre - (I'm NOT - never saw ONE SECOND of "The Walking Dead", even though I'm pretty friendly with Nicotero when he's at Wonderfest) Even as I do...

Shiflett Brother's Lulu the Destroyah - a commission piece

Hi there, everyone - Here's another piece I finished last year - apparently the companion piece to "Chloe the Aviator" - lotsa fun to paint with all of the groovy details - looks like 1/6th, but probably closer to 1/7th... https://i.postimg.cc/9zdw4s6R/DSC-0179.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/R3J...

Actually, these are airbrushed - I usually don't install these in a commission piece unless specified or the eyes are just garbage -

Thanks, Vlad!!!

Hey there again, my resin/styrene afflicted friends! I post yet again a piece I finished for a certain alchemist last year - a ton of fun to paint, and dug the film for once, after having to endure so many schlocky B-films to get the feel for the piece I was paid to do - Hey, it's Harryhausen's effe...

You know, I couldn't tell ya - doesn't indicate scale on the website - judging by the size of the little girl, I'd guess around 1/20th scale -

Hey there yet again - Here's a piece I finished for a customer, last year, I think - I have mixed feelings about the sculpts from these guys, but they are interesting, and they DO tell a story, as Filmy likes to say - I drilled out and replaced the eyes on both the little girl and her dragon - again...

Re: Shane Foulkes' Postosuchus

The Postosuchus looks great, but the base caught my eye as well. The vegetation has a really nice and natural look to it. Interesting that you'd mention that - it's really important to me that the bases of my models compliment the figure that's on 'em - I spend a lot of time modifying plastic plant...

Hey there Clubhouse folks - Here's a piece I've just finished for a customer - a bit burly for the original character, and bustin' up some equipment that didn't appear in the film, either - (YES, I actually watch the movies my customer's pieces are based on, whether I like them or not - This one - e...
