Re: Iron Maiden's Eddie
Yeah, those are nice, but I couldn't justify the cost vs the size. Especially since I already have the set from CMON https://www.tylisaari.com/models/eddie/mini.htm I think the kit you are discussing is the one from Creative Castings. https://www.tylisaari.com/models/eddie/troopfull.htm Which was a...

Re: Iron Maiden's Eddie
Very cool, looks like the Piece of Mind version? I was watching the Flight 666 documentary recently, when Bruce flew the band round the world in 2008. That man is from another planet, how can one person be a top vocalist, aircraft pilot and Olympic fencing champion?! Some great footage of them deliv...

'The Lover' - Ingrid Pitt Tribute
Hi Folks, Here's my take on this lovely tribute kit, a lot of work but good fun and a welcome edition to my Hammer kit display. 'The Lover' - Ingrid Pitt Tribute
Hi Folks, I hope you are all having a good summer so far. Hammer fan that I am, this was a kit I wanted badly, sculpted beautifully by Chuck Needham and released back in 2012 by Vin Bordogna at Resin Crypt. Designed to be a tribute to Ingrid Pit who sadly passed away in 2010, the concept came off th...

Re: X-Plus Mummy’s Tomb
Wow, just catching up with this one, what a superb result! Love the way you've echoed the colours of the box art throughout
and the addition of the lighting in the flames adds to the overall effect beautifully. I've got this kit in the stash and might be following your example!
Cheers,
Paul

Awesome work on Kinski, I really love those weathered grave stones, I'm working on a graveyard base at the moment, perfect timing for some inspirational colour and textures!

Re: SEVANS MOVIE DALEK
Beautiful Job! I remember the nightmare of all that masking - I've now got a vinyl cutter that would have made short work of it! You're not coming to Smallspace this weekend are you? Many thanks Ant, I've been trying to get is as sharp as Gary's 2 footer over at Mooncrest! I did want to come to the...

Sevans MOVIE DALEK
Here's my Sevans Models Movie Dalek, finished in the livery of a worker / guard from the first film, 'Doctor Who & the Daleks'. Starring the wonderful Peter Cushing, I love the 60's bright colour schemes on the Daleks in this film, true icons of classic 60's sci-fi. These kits were originally re...

Re: SEVANS MOVIE DALEK
Hi Folks, Apologies for the long delay on progress with this build, but I've finally got the time and weather required to get all the spraying done and it's crossed the finish line, Yay!! This has been a long haul, it's a 40 year old vac form styrene and mixed media antique kit after all and needed ...

Re: CAPTAIN POMPOUS
Paul, It's an excellent likeness of Arthur Lowe (doesn't look a thing like Toby Jones though :) ) The skin and uniform are excellent and I'm sure the scale was challenging. If I'm not mistaken there is at least one other character available (Wilson??) I don't remember seeing the series in Canada or...

CAPTAIN POMPOUS
One of the benefits of hitting 60 last April, my wonderful Mother in Law treated me to this fine fellow! Not sure if Dad's Army was screened in the USA, but hopefully a few of you will recognise him. Sculpted to perfection by Christopher Sorby (YbrossculptS), an amazing artist based in Australia. Ch...

Re: Rondo Hatton 'The Creeper' on the Workbench
Fantastic work on what is clearly a challenging 'old school' kit. Well worth your efforts to bring it to life though, may I suggest Mr Surfacer 500 as a cure for the rough texture on the face. made by Mr Hobby, you'll need the appropriate Mr Hobby thinner to go with it. It's like painting with a hea...

Re: Amazon's Pet (Nudity!)
Superb work throughout Ant, skin tones on the lady and her pet are very effective and the ground work on the base sets it all off very well.
I'm not surprised the creature looks wrecked and is doing exactly as he's told!

Paul

A LITTLE MORE PROGRESS ON THE SEVANS MOVIE DALEK BUILD... Hi folks, hope all's well and everyone had a good Easter. Despite the lack of posts, I'm still chipping away at our styrene friend here. A lot of filling and sanding on the skirt still to go, but the shoulder section and collar assembly is ju...
