Re: 1:1 Son of Frankenstein project

I've been in the hobby long enough to know the difference between an original Teves and a recast. I don't deal with re casts, I purchased a few when I first entered the hobby many years and once I knew the deal, I threw them out.

1:1 Son of Frankenstein project

I actually found a resin Cine art bust a few months ago in a trash pile in front of a house down the street from my home. They had apparently moved out and it was just in a box of old toys, stuffed animals, etc.. Talk about one person's trash being another's treasure. It was an older couple and I ca...

Frankenstein castle door

I've been commissioned to do a Frankenstein lab dio. I will be using the Formula for Life kit from Resin Crypt, the Operation kit from MIM, and odds and ends from the Moebius Invisible Man kit. I am awaiting the delivery of the Formula kit so in the interim I constructed a door to the lab in 1/6. ht...

Re: Ymir in barn

thanks for the interest, unfortunately the barn raising will have to be put on hold. I have a commission to build a Frankenstein's lab diorama for a client. Once that's done I will finish off the Ymir dio.

J.Laudati's YMIR w/ custom base

My favorite scene has always been him finding the sulfur in the barn so I attempted to replicate it. I still need to tear open a sack of sulfur and add the custom nameplate Mark Kaelin (thanks Mark) expertly made for me. I am also toying with adding a section of roof to close it in a bit. Thanks to ...

Re: Hairy arms and spotted ascots advice?

For the arm hair might I suggest using a very sharp colored pencil and lightly draw them on. Keeping the pencil sharp will give you the fine lines you want. Regarding the ascot, that's a bit tougher. I would use white water color for ease of removal and just experiment. You could try dipping a tooth...

Re: Vengeance of the Demon/Pumpkinhead

Thanks Norm, it's an awesome piece, but the pose makes it difficult to photograph at the proper angle....lol. .
The photo makes it look much darker than it is.

Vengeance of the Demon/Pumpkinhead

Vengeance of the Demon Pumpkinhead kit, sculpted beautifully by Wm. Paquet and produced by Artist Proof Studio. It's a flawless casting. 2 pieces, the kit itself and upper teeth. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y98/pred53/IMG_3436_zpsae6cyb8w.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y98/pred53/IMG_3440...
