The whole paint job is great, but yes,
the fins really do look as if they are
lit from inside. Great Job Jon!!!

Haven't done a plastic kit
since I don't know when...
Assembly is fun but the
painting is such a pain
in the ass!!!
Destruction is going to
be a challenge for sure.

"The hardest thing to paint on something this size, is eyebrows"

They look great. My favorite tool for eyes/eyebrows is colored pencils.
Gotta get good ones though... I use Faber Castell.

The big guy is coming along nicely.
Eyes look good so far. Gotta take your
time on them, as you are. Eyes are such
an important part of a kit that you just
can't settle for "ok". Keep up the good
work.

Re: " Right" Brett from Alien

Great job on this!!!

I have this kit as well... Very good likeness.
I'm thinking of painting it as a "bronze"
since the sculpt is so detailed.
Nice size as well at 1/3 scale...
It is sold on Etsy by OutcastUnion.

Re: Teeth Tips

Cutoff tips of round toothpicks and CA Glue.
If you have micro drill bits, they help alot to
make holes to glue into. This makes a base
to adhere the Aves to.
