Amazing AT-AT garage kit.
Just watched this video from Adam Savage's Tested.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hAp4W18qX14
I have no clue who makes this kit, but it is a thing of beauty.
Both in design and execution.
I thought the hardware guys here would enjoy this unboxing video.

Yeah, that's great but depressing because I can't get one! Some guys have all the luck, smart and famous...two things I've never found.

I tried Googling it with no luck as Adamtay666 wrote:Why can't you get one?
specifically does not mention the maker.
I luckily have a decent 1/48 scale resin AT-AT
that I acquired from a vendor at Wondefest
a few (or more - LoL) years back.

The spend on that kit was extensive I’ll bet. There’s no way that’s any less than $1500 or more for that many pieces. Very well done though. This may be the guys producing it?

Re: Amazing AT-AT garage kit.
Don't think that is the same kit.
Found a video review of the Mira-Kits AT-AT
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gSITWRdBNo
Nice looking kit, but not nearly as nicely engineered as the one Adam showed.

Wow!
I am surprised at the price. I thought for sure it would have been more.
$1100 for that seems very reasonable. Especially with a payment plan.

Awesome kit. I wish I had the space for something like that.
Who am I kidding... I'm too cheap to spend the high 3's to 4 digits price tag for a model.

Re: Amazing AT-AT garage kit.
cool vid! Figures he would make the assembly more difficult. But being in the industry That's what he's used to... won't say what b/c of spoilers.
I like the idea of those blocks (forget what he called 'em) as an attachment point. Would comes in real handy for scratching something.

He's back, building a base, and painting. As well as wiring some stuff up.

Re: Amazing AT-AT garage kit.
Final video in the series.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYmXrbaJYyQ
In this one Adam does a lot of wiring, some painting, and a lot of weathering.
An hour + well-spent watching this.
