The Batman 1/35th Bandai Batmobile
The 1/35th scale Batmobile from the Robert Pattinson “The Batman” (2022). Other than Batmobiles I rarely build cars because I dislike building car engines. As you can see, this is mostly an engine on wheels. It's hard to photograph, but the engine actually extends into the "backseat" of the car. So, as you can imagine, I was a bit hesitant. But I think it turned out okay. Went together decent as most Bandai kits do. Finished with a semigloss black to try and replicate the look of the film car. Weathered parts of it with graphite powder as an experiment for a different project.

Looks good to me.
I too, am not a car guy, so I don't really know what to look for.
I do know it looks cool, and seems well done to me.

Nice work and the semigloss black looks perfect!
I was thinking of getting one of these kits myself; just wish it came in a larger scale like 1/24.

Good job.

Re: The Batman 1/35th Bandai Batmobile
I did too initially... A lot of my other Batmobile kits are in 1/25th... and when I opened the box I was surprised by how small it was. I knew it was a smaller scale when I purchased it. But to see it "in hand" was quite a shock. But despite the price, I went ahead an got it because I have a Bandai Tumbler and a Keaton Batmobile in 1/35 that I have yet to build and I thought this would be a nice addition to that collection. I had not built a Bandai vehicle previously and was just blown away by how easy this kit went together. I don't normally pre-paint cars, but was able to with this one. Hardly a drop of glue used on it either. It's not snap fit... but it might as well be. Came in handy when I interpreted the directions incorrectly on a step but didn't realize it until much later. Was able to break it back down without damaging it. Something I wouldn't have been able to do had I used my regular glue.Trekkriffic wrote:Nice work and the semigloss black looks perfect!

I would love to have this in a larger scale, but only if it went together as nicely as this one does.

Nice, makes me want to pick one of these up even though I am not a car guy either.
