Mattie the Mad Monster Modeler

Just realized there is no thread for this awesome kit.

Yeah, it's resin, but it screams 70's styrene nostalgia, so I think it belongs here.

Impatiently waiting for mine to come in the mail.

I plan on getting one. A great addition to the Weird-oh type kits.

Glad to see this kit shown on Monster Model Review. Missed um. Been a while they had a new episode.

Rob has actually put out 3 episodes in the last couple weeks.

And I know he is working on I think 2 more at this time (not sure how soon they will be done)
So, yeah, it's been great to see the videos coming again.

Mattie's been busting my hump the last couple of weeks. Forty parts to that fella! And I had to toss out a bunch of the little kit's arms, too many broken fingers. Ugh! But I'm almost caught up.

Escape Hatch models should be added to the "DEALER" section.

If they still do updates here.

Good idea.
Someone remind me this weekend (cause I'll probably forget by then)

No rush from me. I was just wondering how it was progressing on the Mattie kits.
Wow! That’s pretty fast.

You guys really do read these posts! I’m shocked.

Got my Mattie yesterday. Looks great. Can’t wait to build this kit. My next project to work on.
I was really surprised seeing all the little parts. I don’t usually see a lot of small parts included with resin kits. Kind of like the plastic kits I usually buy. I’m really happy it includes the miniature instructions and model box. All these included extras are what makes this kit work. Well thought out. Great job to all on getting this one out.

Now to build it with my own personnel take on this kit.
I’ll post some photos later.
Thanks to all involved! :like

Just finished putting some final touches on my Mad Modeler kit. This is a fun model to build. I added a lot of my own modeling ideas to the kit. Wanted it to look like a Weird-O type kit. I think I captured it. I actually could have added more, but I have other jobs waiting. Maybe I'll get back to this one someday and add more.
I love the clutter look. I do that to a lot of the models I build. (I'm "The Mudder of Clutter" I guess).
Things to watch for... Compressor under too much pressure ready to explode, Zop glue spill, Festers Spray cans, Miniature model on table. I was planning on adding even smaller model on the miniature table, but time was running out. Maybe at a later date.

Here are a few photos.
Enjoy!
