Got this from Facebook Looks Like it was made with the original sculpture that Phil Ceparano owns. Phil also has the original godzilla monsters of the movies sculpture ...Could that be next ?
Very interesting.....

Aurora Monsters of the Movies series
Super , super rare !! Made from the 1975 original wax sculpture of the NEVER RELEASED "Metaluna Mutant" now in styrene kit form . Only 100 were produced. I'm lucky enough to have purchased two, one to build and one to save in kit form

I think they were for sale at Chiller... ?

Well I'm one of those guys(with a Resin copy) and I'm oK with this because... This was always meant to be done in Styrene.... so I'm of the mindset that it only compliments my Resin copy...

It seems like a game in way .. first lets make it limited in resin..
Then lets make in plastic limited too rolls eyes..
Why just sell it to Moebius really...I'm sure they would give enough money
for it.. whats next vinyl.? I remembering seeing resin ones on ebay..
Hell no will pay that much for one thoses..

Here are the Parts from the resin Mutant Only 26 ever cast......

Image

Here are the Parts to the New Mutant in Styrene It is written there are 107 kits on Earth (your millage may vary) :)

Image Image

So as you can see there are always more parts with styrene kits than there are with Resin kits as a rule of thumb

First off, for all of the inquiries and well wishes sent my way, during an unexpected (and MOST untimely) absence from the forums, my family and myself are TRULY grateful for the support of my SECOND family here on the CH! :)
Having said that, for right now, I am neither able, nor WILLING to volunteer ANY information other than to let folks know that have prepaid when I have had the chance to pack and ship their orders, and I will leave it at that. Harry or Trevor, (or Susan or ANY of the other mods), I would appreciate a BIT of breathing room to get caught up and at least TRY and control the ebb and flow of data; for right now THE best source is the thread on Buc's site which literally began the Sunday night of the show (if not SOONER, y'know how Buc is with getting the scoop, LOL!
Thanks to all, your patience WILL payoff!

Tom.
We all know you are a stand up guy and will get your orders filled as soon as you can.

As for anyone looking for info, yeah, Buc's page has most of the details.(that we know so far)
http://www.bucwheat.com/metaluna/metaluna.htm
And there are discussion threads in almost every modeling group on facebook for those who browse there.

And I am super glad to see you back Tom.

It seems like everyone is selling them now...Well Amok Time and Monsters in Motion and they are on ebay average is about $129.00....
There must be more that 107 kits available.... It looks Like MIM is treating it like a pre sale waiting on a shipment to arrive ? I'd like to know , honestly, how many were made....? 107 pink and 2000 Grey?
The plot thickens.... :)
