Such a drag - he was a talented guy, and it sounds like he was a nice person as well. (They don't always go together...)

I was introduced to Gabriel marquez a few years back when I fell in love with his Beetlejuice sculpt. I went on to buy it and got to know him a little but and we became friendly. I was aware he was ill. I went on to produce a few more of his art pieces but the Ghost was something very personal to him and I was privileged to release it for him. My condolences got out to his family and close friends.

I never heard how he died, I was shocked to hear of it because I had just bought a couple of Kong kits from him, one was his sculpt of the 76 Kong. I have been doing a lot of commissions and have not had time to work on stuff for me, but I feel like I would really like to finish the other Mike Hill bust I bought from him now. Rest in peace.

Very sad to hear of his passing, I met him at my first WonderFest back 99. He absolutely personified goodwill, he and I had a brief but very good chat as we went to our respective gates at the airport . My condolences and prayers to his family.
