Want to put a shirt on your Wolf Man?

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

This is the latest creation from Jasper Anderson, the extremely talented sculptor behind Escape Hatch's Grave Robber and Play it Again, Erik, replacement parts. Are you among the people who'd like to see a shirt on your Wolf Man, something closer to the way he was portrayed in the movies? Jasper has your solution in this digitally sculpted piece, which fits the Aurora kit's head, hands and lower body.

I think it's pretty darned neat, but I have to figure out whether I can fit it into Escape Hatch's budget. What I'm trying to determine here is whether there's enough support to finance this through a short-term presale. Basically, I'd collect payments for the piece and then get the digital file from Jasper. Escape Hatch now has a "print farm" of four machines -- it'll be five, maybe even six by the end of summer -- and the shirts will be printed hollow but sturdy.

Want to make sure it's clear: These shirts would not be traditionally molded and cast, but printed in resin.

There's a bit of guesswork involved at the moment, but I think I could at least do an initial run for $25 counting U.S. shipping. Figure $21 plus shipping for a 1-pound package outside the States. But I'd need a prepaid commitment from at least 25 people to make that happen. I'd be able to turn around the orders in less than a month.

So, are y'all interested? If so, please speak up. I'm not taking any money yet, just want to see if this can work out.

Thanks for your time.

PRESALE IS OVER. Spock has put the shirt on the Escape Hatch site and it's one of his masterworks!

Getting a decent response on Facebook so I think it's going to go forward.
