It's not just your computer.
The only way I can see them is if I right-click and open the image in a new window.

Started happening about a month ago with his pics. Assuming it is something his hosting company did.

No images for me either.
I tried following the past IL WIP's but unfortunately I gave up due to lack of images coming through, although the step by step descriptions look very interesting.

I (and several others) have been having a problem for a few months now.
The photos in some threads were not showing up. We could see them if we would right-click and open the image in a new window. But didn't see any in the thread itself.
It was very frustrating. I had investigated is a few times, with no luck.
But after it came up again the other night, I took another look, and found an answer.
I don't know if this will work for everyone, but this worked for me.

Seems the cause of the issue is the links using http instead of https.
Seems most browsers these days, don't like showing unsecured items on secure sites.
The fix for chrome (which is what I use).
When you find a thread with images that won't show. Right-click and open the image in a new window/tab.
Go to the image, look at the left side of the address bar. You should see where it says 'Not Secure'. Click on that. Then scroll down and click on 'site settings'.
Scroll down to 'images'
Change the setting to 'allow'
Then go back up and click where it says 'reset permissions'
After that pics should show up in the threads for you.

Nice bit of research Trev =D> :thumb2:

I'm always impressed by your ability to find solutions to things like this . . . and then wonder how you decided on a shop-floor/blue-collar job when you obviously have a talent for IT-related work.

Speaking of which - I have this Fireball XL5 kit that needs fixing - any change of a hand? (what? - you're not a rocket scientist?) Image

Because while I enjoy a good puzzle occasionally, I don't want to do that stuff all the time.

Wow, do I agree with that statement! I feel the same with IT and music production. I'd HATE it if either were my full-time job. :alcoholic:

I'll have you know that Cyndi Lauper album was a one-off deal . . . well - besides Donna Summers' "I Remember Yesterday" anyways. It was part of my parole stipulations.

I must be doing something wrong as that was no different.

I am running on old tech. My browser is way out of date and not going to be updated.

I'm running chrome but I see messages saying it is no longer supported for windows xp.

Though I am not sure what version of windows. Could be 7.
