Day The World Ended a Escape Hatch Hobbies model

Just finished this resin kit of Day The World Ended. This is a 13 part resin kit sold by Escape Hatch Hobbies. I airbrushed and hand painted this using Testors enamels. Model builds up with very little problems. I did add rocks to the base using Aves clay. The rocks were added under the monster's left foot. This was done to reposition the creature so that it looks more forward. Giving it a more menacing appearance. I did make new horns for the head of the creature using glow sprue. This gives it more of a transparent look, as was shown in the movie. Joe Laudati did the sculpt for this model. It is in the same scale as the Aurora monster models. This fits in well with my collection of Aurora monsters. A great addition to my monster collection.
