Just got this gem today and its suuuuweeet! Well casted and the box and instruction sheet are very reminiscent of the old Aurora kits! And an awesome price. Molded in two colors. Black for the base and glow for the entire figure and lots of parts if you enjoy the build-up. Now I'm in a quandary. My first instinct was to shove everything of the bench and dive in then I got to thinking. So My question is. If you owned this kit would you build it or sit on it an get a non glow later hoping the price will go down. Back in the early 2000's Polar Light gave us the Big Godzilla and the one I got was molded in white and I didn't know it was limited when I built it. Not that I give a hoot about gaining a profit but a lot of the old monster releases that I'm currently trying to re-collect are going for high dollars well in the $1 to $200.00 dollar range! :(

So what would you do? Any thoughts would be appreciated. 8)

Well it didn't take long to decide. I had to build it! This is one of the best styrene kits I've ever done. Goes together really well and the sculpt is AWESOME! Very sweet bod on this gal. I had to resist the urge to make her all tan and wanted to go with the Fazetta-esque pale pallor look so I first painted her lite blue and then added pale flesh tones. Really great base and as always I added a few doo-dads. Oh, and have fun cutting in that slingshot bikini! Brutal!

Major kudos to all involved in this fun run! 8) :thumb2:

Pics ain't as sharp as I'd like but ya still get the picture.......

You might have outgrown it, but I haven't. That is the only version of Vampi I am remotely interested in. And I plan on leaving all her flesh glow. I am even looking into adding UV LEDs inside glow kits to make them glow on command.

Probably reminiscent of when some of us WERE children. My 1st kits were the monster square box glow kits when I was about eight. Just glued together without any paint. It was so cool to see them glow at night when it was bedtime! 8)

I remember how cool that was - the only Aurora kit I ever owned - GITD Creature! - I used to stare at it in the dark over the top of the sheets to see if it was still glowing

Don't mind Scuzz - he tends to like his glasses half-empty  :)
