It reminds me of early Ralph Bakshi animation. Very cool stuff!

I wasn't going to say anything yet, intending to wait a bit but episode 7 definitely took a hard turn (right off that cliff, it appears).

Not sure what direction Tartakovski is taking "Primal" into?

I guess we'll see, though.

Holy crap !!!!!!!!

I couldn't find this available ANYWHERE in Canada so had to wait until my bud who has access to pretty much anything worldwide was available.

Just caught up on all 7 episodes so far available from season 2.

Mind-blowing - so SO good Image

I ADORE everything about this - the script, the imagination, the animation, but ESPECIALLY the art style. We can never explain why certain artists pull us in more than others (* cough, Mike Ploog, John Byrne, cough *) . . . but I love the artwork & art direction on this :cloud9:

As I posted a couple of years back during season 1 . . . GK's of this would be VERY well received (and Uel Winner - MCTV's "animation" arteest would do a great job!) https://www.instagram.com/uelwinner/

.
Hey HMS, Welcome to the "Primal" party!

I agree with everything you've posted, (although I don't know who Mike Ploog is, or what he's done)?

It WOULD be kewl getting a GK of Spear and Fang, though! I guess we (hopefully) would have to include Mira to the mix as well.

I've only made it through episode 6 so far. Loving it, and really like the twist of fang being female.

I do not remember them showing Fang giving birth in episode 1.
I know fang was with the kids when they got eaten, but still could have been the dad.

Also, episode 1 was almost 3 years ago now. My memory isn't THAT good.

Fang is identified everywhere online as female. I know, I know . . . we could have fallen victim to the first recorded example of pronoun misgendering :P

I'm sure the "memory" explanation is something all of us can accept / identify with though :)

I didn't realize that Fang was a "She" either. I kind of thought she was, with her guarding her nest and her babies in the first
episode like she was. However I wasn't 100% sure. (I mean, with some species the males take over the task
of caring for, and sometimes even giving birth to their young, like with Seahorses, for example. There aren't many, but there are
some).

They just showed Episode 8 a couple of days ago. It was part #2 of their latest story-line.
I stopped watching it mid Episode 7, since I didn't want to get caught up in a "To-Be-Continued" cliff-hanger.
(I'm wondering if it safe now to come back out and play)?

enjoyed Part III of the lastest episode, although I'm slightly confused as to
why they headed out to sea in the first place!

(Unless she's (Mira?) trying to get back to her home or something?

I was wondering about that myself.
Why move the nest?
Why not just stay where they were. Obviously there was plenty of food and such there.

Yeah. I know he went out to sea in search of her. Could they be going
back, maybe? or again, she's returning to the home she and her people
were snatched from?

but overall a great series!

I am not sure how, or why, but this is coming back for a 3rd season :o

I thought it wrapped up on quite the final note and figured that was the end.
Not sure what to think about this news.
