Re: Daredevil on Netflix
I've only had time to watch the first ep so far.
Seemed to be just as good as the first season to me.
I haven't had time to watch JJ yet.

Re: Daredevil on Netflix
I've got four episodes left and as far as I'm concerned Season Two is better than Season One.
The plot has been solid, the Punisher has been great and the action is amazing.

Re: Daredevil on Netflix
I'm hoping that they will release it on dvd... easier for me to do than via the computer.

Re: Daredevil on Netflix
Very good season, enjoyed it better than the first.
I see Luke Cage has his own series starting in September.
Now we need a full season of The Punisher.

Re: Daredevil on Netflix
Yeah. I was up until 3:30 this morning.
I'm through episode 8 right now.
The hits just keep on coming. Just when you think things can't get worse,
they do.
Loving it!

Re: Daredevil on Netflix
We've finally worked our ways through all of season 2 - loved it.
A few nit-picks - like people being seriously wounded and then jumping around & fighting like they are in superhuman condition 1 day later - repeatedly. There were also a number of things that either weren't explained (perhaps intentionally for later follow-up) or we didn't grasp.
Stuff like this doesn't matter though given the superb acting, direction & story etc.
Casting was ULTRA-PERFECT (new & returning characters).
. . . and YES - we need a Punisher spin-off!

(chuckling) yeah... agree. and seemed he wasn't as good a fighter this 2nd seasonHeavy Metal Spike wrote:A few nit-picks - like people being seriously wounded and then jumping around & fighting like they are in superhuman condition 1 day later - repeatedly.
as he was when he was just wearing black (and no padding)
(althought the stair fight was cool) ep3 I think
I continued to have questions throughout the series, but everything for meThere were also a number of things that either weren't explained (perhaps intentionally for later follow-up) or we didn't grasp.
was answered in the end. What weren't, for you?
(i must admit, making Frank a soldier instead of a DEA agent was a let down
for me. Very Minor...but thought the DEA agent made more sense in the Punisher
genre)

Re: Daredevil on Netflix
I don't think that he wasn't as good a fighter, I just think he was up against better opponents.
And he was at a disadvantage against the Hand since he couldn't hear/sense them.
And I liked that they made him a soldier. Made more sense.
Explains all the skills with the weapons and hand-to-hand.
(I still think the only reason Marvel didn't make him a soldier in the comics was to avoid being too much like Mack Bolan which I have always believed the character was based on)
Love those reviews. Very comprehensive and totally 'gets' it all.
And yeah, they left a few things open, but I am betting that is just setting things up for next season.

So, can you still binge on the show or is that over now? I guess I'll have to watch it on my computer... I have a Dish, so I think that is out of the equation.
