So, who else is still watching this?
Great opening episode tonight. This season looks to be all kinds of fun.

I know there used to be a lot of fans, but many gave up during the down years of the Leviathans and Metatron. But the show has really turned around and has been picking up steam over the last few seasons.

I knew when I saw "the Road So Far" at the beginning of tonight's ep that it was gonna be good.
And it didn't disappoint.

I've been in for the long haul, and have watched every episode. I agree there were some lean years that were hard to slog through, but the great thing about this show is that it's never taken itself too seriously. It just tries to entertain! I thought last night's season opener was just okay. I don't know if Castiel and Crowley are gone from the show entirely, or will be worked back into the story at a later date? But, for me the best episodes/seasons are the ones where the side characters have a really good secondary plot to work with, and it's not up to Sam and Dean to carry the full load.

I watch each new season as it comes out on Netflix, so I'm basically time shifted by one season.

I don't know, and I have been stay away from anything that might be a spoiler to avoid finding out.
But, knowing this show, I doubt they are gone for good.
They are too good, and too big a fan favorites to be gone completely.

Although, this series does have a bad habit of introducing cool ideas/creatures only to kill them off.

I missed the first fifteen minutes so I'm going to have to catch it again on On Demand. I really hope they bring back Castiel and Crowley. They had a really nice ensemble group there. I'm really going to miss Ruth Connell as Rowena. :-(

OMG!

Last night's season finale blew me away!

This whole season has fooled me several times on where they were going to go with things.
And this episode was no exception. I think there were 3 different ways I saw things playing out last night. And each time it turned another way.
I so, did not see that ending coming. Or what is set up for the 15th and final season.

This show never ceases to amaze me. Every time I think the bad guy can't get any bigger or badder, they always find a way to raise the stakes.
Looks like they are really going to go out with a bang next season.

Oh yeah. I agree.
That is what had me spinning from one scenario to the next

**** SPOILER ALERT ****

First I was like yay Chuck!
Then I was like what the hell?
Then when he was watching Dean hold the gun on Jack, I thought there was going to be a twist, where Dean thought he was going to die, but didn't and Jack would be fixed because of some loophole with the rules of the gun.
Then I was shocked at Chucks reaction, and following actions.

I am hoping, with what was unleashed that there is going to be a lot of hunting next season.
Which would give a good excuse to team up with all their old friends along the way.

I finally watch the rest of the final season.
I got a good chunk done over the holidays, but got sidetracked and didn't finish.
Finally watched the last 3 or 4 last week.

Honestly, I thought episode 19 would have been a good place to end it.
It was all wrapped up with a nice ending. I was curious to see what they had in mind for the finale.

I liked it. It was sad, and I am not ashamed to say I was a little emotional watching it.
But I really like the way they ended it.
And they did end it. There is no 'maybe they will come back' or anything like that.
