I'll try to avoid spoilers, but parents with smaller kids may want to consider whether they see it or not. My daughter was full out bawling at the end. It was work to get her quieted down, re-focused, and not upset the other patrons. It took another half hour or so after the movie ended to get her calmed down.

Everything I hoped it would be. The Russos amazed me in two ways: 1) effortlessly juggling a film of such massive scope and 2) taking such a nuanced approach with Thanos. Clearly the writers spent time reading a lot of the post Infinity Gauntlet Thanos stories, because they really nailed how complex a character he ultimately became. Obviously the cast was mammoth, and no one's favorite character(s) got as much screen time as we might like, but it was a great balancing act with nearly everyone getting some good lines and action beats.

Loved it.

Finally saw it last night! Very good!

Agree w/ Larry.. the cast was massive, but the time spent w/ each group
was outstandingly impressive!

The ONLY nitpick I had was w/ Bruce & Hulk. They were depicted more as
a split personality, when I've always looked at the dynamic as an 'inner beast'
let loose type of affair (ala Jekyll/Hyde) Hulk shouldn't have the ability to
NOT appear... it happens becuz Bruce's emotions get to such a state that
he has no control over the beast breaking out.

But it was a minor point. Thought the film deserved all they hype it got.

Agreed on that Hulk perspective. I gather that the directors are approaching the Hulk and Banner as two characters, which I believe has also been done in the comics, and I'm not crazy about that.

I'm sort of on the fence about this movie. My final verdict will be rendered after I see the next one. If this one turns out to be a setup for a great film, I'll love them both. If the next one is another Age of Ultron, I'll forget them both. No matter what, though, Infinity War is my favorite Guardians of the Galaxy film so far.

My nitpick: "All life" doesn't mean just every human or sentient being. It means every tree, every tick, every mushroom, every blade of grass, dust mite, sponge, whale, etc. Did anyone else see anything to indicate that kittens were reduced to ash at the end?

Basically, if half of everything is reduced, that bounty Thanos anticipates isn't going to be there, aside from extra space. And that'll last what? Maybe 50 years?

Yeah... I'm kinda dreading the 'Time' stone and the writers just
have everyone wake up in the shower!

I get it! A Dallas reference. Never saw it, but I know it's the most notorious "it was all a dream" in TV history.

Finally saw this.
Really great movie.
I agree everyone got decent screen time, especially considering how many there were.
I liked that they didn't waste time explaining much of anything beside the stones themselves.

Looking forward to the sequel.
