Started watching it last night. Don't think I've ever seen the
Dark Horse comic, but so far 3 eps in, enjoying it!

Has a Watchmen feel to it... w/ a Haunting of Hill house type
of windy, look-back, story line that gives you some background
but not enuff where you want more!! :)

Check it out!

Ya beat me to it :)

We'd also never read the comics but were drawn in by the trailers which looked really good - just the right level of irreverence to appeal to me and mine.

Got through the whole lot - really enjoyed it. Sort of a "whodunnit" (or "whowilldoit" or "howwillithappen") on steroids.

Great characters, slowly introduced and broadened out, with great writing, direction, acting, pacing etc. etc. etc.

Some really clever ideas like the intro "titles", and . . . heck - can't really say what I want to without getting into spoiler territory . . . just watch it - it's great :D

EVERY actor/actress was amazing, but the top awards go to the fellas playing #4 and #5 - amazing work. I was even more impressed when I found out the lad playing #5 was only 15 years old!

I'd really recommend going in cold so you have the fun of all the twists/turns/surprises.

About the ONLY fault was the dance scene in E06 (where I was tempted to say "Dracarys!" ) - and I was a bit confused why there were no cellphones - but aside from that - it was bloody perfect! =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

I actually fast fwd'd through that! :)

Yeah... w/ all the wall hanging phones and actual phone booths, I got an 80's
feel about it. Cars looked European to me as well.

Finished it last night. Thought I had it figured out in ep7, but ...nope! :)
Enjoyed it very much!

Wonder if there will be a season 2... (seeing how I just read Punisher & JJ news
finally came out)

Can't say on which to go for first (since I've not read the comics) - but I'd think you'd enjoy the heck out of the show.

A few episodes in. Always love Robert Sheehan. So far I'm hooked.
If you ever get the chance check out Cameron Britton (Hazel in UA) in Mindhunter, he was crazy (no pun intended) awesome in that.

Loved it! Some hokey stuff (the beforementioned dance scene) but otherwise a very good show. Glad I watched it.
Really enjoyed Aidan Gallagher (Number 5), thought he did a pretty good job for someone his age.

That was showing the Dad's origins - he was an alien, and a lot older than we thought.

That’s it, Dads an alien?!

I was expecting something much cooler than that. Like maybe dad was actually #5.
