Great character actor - always gave off a sense of power & menace.
I'll remember him for Blade Runner (primarily), along with S01E03 of Lexx, and Sin City.
And the obvious (inaccurate for him) byline -
"All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain." (he apparently added this to the script).

Very upsetting. He was so good in everything. Hobo with a shotgun wasn't all that great but he made it worth watching.

When word started circulating that Burton was directing a big budget Batman movie back in '88, and before the part had been cast, I remember thinking Hauer would have been perfect in the title role.

If i remember correctly anne rice said he was lestat in her mind.

Flesh & Blood was another excellent movie. He made so many.
