Marvel's Shang Chi......

#1 Post by Glusniffer »

I rented this from Redbox today with very lowest of expectations because I grew up in the early 70's in the golden era of kung-fu and the old comic series. I couldn't fathom how in this day and age a martial arts movie could be a worthwhile watch but I was WRONG! This is a really good flick full of non stop action, awesome graphics, surprise cameos and other cool stuff! Just make sure to watch BOTH of the post credit clips! 8)

Was able to watch this a few weeks back courtesy of a friend of mine - I'd been putting it off due to the mixed feedback I'd got.

I was really surprised for the 1st half - liked that lot - but the 2nd half veered into "transformers" territory (too much action/CGI and not enough story).

Probably won't bother watching it again (or I'll stop half-way through :) )
