Re: starfighter - couldn't agree more.

Through the whole episode my wife and I were discussing where he would sleep/live/store the tools of the trade, etc.

And... he's a bounty hunter!

Unless lopping off heads becomes SOP where's the 'bounty' supposed to go?

Maybe that's what the little bubble is for? To show people not to mess with him. :lol:

They mind as well call it something else now. Two episodes and no Boba (well 30 secs in 6)?
At least they really limited the Mods this episode. The Naboo ship is really growing on me, feels like a WW2 fighter now.
Just started watching the Clone Wars cartoons for the first time so it is cool seeing some of these characters. I'm really looking forward to what Cad Bane (I keep wanting to call him Conrad Bane for some reason) is going to do.

Some random thoughts...

Timothy Olyphant is clearly channeling his old (and soon to be revived) Raylan Givens character from Justified and that's okay with me :) ;

The technology behind Luke's image has grown by leaps and bounds since last season's Mandalorian climax. Luke looks incredible now - although they still have to cut away most of the time when there's dialogue;

Agree with Tim re: Naboo Fighter - the shots inside the cockpit at the controls made me think of Tom Hardy in Dunkirk;

And definitly a SW Ep. 4 vibe about the whole show. They've done a great job seemlessly integrating this right into the SW universe. Favreau and Filoni are the fanboys you want at the helm.

                • Just SO much YES it's impossible to say "Yes" with any more emphasis . . . SOOOOOO good. Image Image Image

PS: OK - there were a few dodgy moments . . . but at the end of the day - was it great fun? . . . HELL YES !!!!!!

PPS: I just want to make it clear that just because I squealed out loud on SEVERAL occasions during this ONE HOUR LONG episode - that is NOT me in the GIF (it IS a fair approximation though)

PPPS: And now we know what the bubble on the new spaceship is for :)

I really enjoyed this episode. Lot's of action.
I can handle Amy Sidaris (definitely not my favorite) and I hate to be a party pooper but I really don't like the Mods. Just really, really lame and out of place IMO. I'd rather they were Gungans rather than teenagers to be honest.

Yes, the child in the GIF has more hair. :wink: :D

I agree 100% - the female & male leads from that squad can't act, and have accents that immediately take you out of the viewing experience. Hope they disappear into the ether (or the nearest sarlac pit).

Not true - body hair counts - including nasal (I did a survey).

The season finale was all that and then more! I am planning on rewatching it as I thoroughly enjoyed it all! Favreau is a genius!

Agree with others that the last ep was, strategically speaking, soooooo stupid!!!
As w/ the many plot holes. I love me some Robert Rodriquez <sp?> (i.e. Desperado,
Dusk/Dawn), but the episodes he directed in this series were so blah!

Was happy to see the mid after credits... (at 1st I thought he had put Cad in
there!!!) :)

I love this fella's take on things, and this is no exception.

Took him a while (over 6 months!) to get round to it, but I really appreciate his sense-of-humour :D
