I had never read the Gaiman books, although had heard of them for
years... so I know nothing about what this was about.
But have to say, I have 2 more episodes left and I'm loving it! Esp the
episode of the 'every 100 years' which I thought was fantastic!
Everyone check this series out!

Re: The Sandman (Netflix)
I binged it over the weekend. I enjoyed it. I remember reading the first few graphic novels years ago. I enjoyed them but it was around the time I stopped buying comics so never finished the run. Definitely worth the watch.
I enjoyed the Cereal Convention. I thought the ending was a bit too abrupt but when dealing with a god, a handwave is all you get.
I really enjoyed the diner episode.
Hector and Lyta Hall was a surprise (my memory is crap so I didn't remember them from the book). Daughter of golden age Wonder Woman and son of the the golden age Hawkman/Hawkgirl. Backstory completely retconned by Crisis on Infinite Earths. Just looked it up, they were part of the Sandman run, just after I stopped reading.
Worth the watch IMO.
