I received a pair of Blu-rays from a friend as a thank you gift; one, a double feature disc that contains the comedies Grumpy Old Men & Grumpier Old Men; and two, the Blu-ray of the fantasy/comedy Just Visiting.

The really liked "Just Visiting" but I liked the original French made film a lot more.

I found a VHS tape of "Grumpy Old Men" in a stack of tapes just recently. I'll see if I can find it again and watch it tonight.
Its a good movie in an odd way. Now that I'm approaching Grumpy Old Man status I may pick up some pointers on how not to act.

I've been on a buying spree lately:

Blu-ray
Hacksaw Ridge (bought at Walmart)
Black Sheep (the 2007 horror-comedy from New Zealand, not the 1996 Chris Farley comedy; eBay purchase)
The Final Destination (the fourth movie in the series; OOP used 3D Blu-ray purchased from eBay)
The Undying Monster (1942 horror film by 20th Century-Fox, heavily "inspired" by Universal's The Wolf Man; ordered from Amazon)
Piranha 3DD (sequel to Piranha 3D on 3D Blu-ray; ordered from Amazon)
4 Film Favorites - Final Destination Collection (contains Final Destination, Final Destination 2, Final Destination 3, and The Final Destination; ordered from Amazon)

Also pre-ordered (from Target) Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the 3D Blu-ray version.

Another buying binge for me:

Blu-ray
Frankenstein Created Woman (Hammer Films, 1967. OOP disc purchased used from eBay)
Timecop (1994 sci-fi movie starring Jean-Claude Van Damme; lots of action! Region-free disc ordered from Amazon U.K.)
Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia ('70s crime drama starring Warren Oates; extremely limited edition Blu-ray of only 3,000 copies from Twilight Time)
The Fabulous Baker Boys (starring the luscious Michelle Pfeiffer; 'nuff said!)
Audrey Rose (1977 film about a little girl who appears to be the reincarnated form of another little girl; stars Anthony Hopkins)
Allied (2016 movie with Brad Pitt in WWII)
Justice League Dark (DC Comics animated movie)
DVD
Hammer Film Set: 3 Horror Classics (Dracula: Prince of Darkness, The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires, and Frankenstein Created Woman

I also have pre-orders for Passengers (4K, 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray set) and a German-made region-free Blu-ray of Elvira: Mistress of the Dark. The Elvira Blu-ray is limited to only 3,000 copies, with three different types of cover art: 1,000 copies of each style of cover art, for a total of only 3,000 copies worldwide.

I grabbed Kingsman: The Secret Service at Walmart for $7.50. This way I can delete it from my DVR.

GRRRR!!! Be sure and check those dates on DVDs that you order. I went to put in Evil Dead this weekend and I had accidentally bought the 2013 remake which had non of the coolness factor of the 1983 original. I was going on the cover picture of the DVD box and quickly added it to the cart.

There's a difference between the titles of the movies that can be a bit confusing to the prospective buyer; the 1983 movie is called The Evil Dead, whereas the 2013 version is simply Evil Dead.

the 1983 movie is called The Evil Dead
I see that now. I missed the changes in cover, the cast listing and the year so doubtful I would have ever caught that.
Even when it started playing I thought "wow they must have done a digital redo and added parts because I don't remember this scene." I was a good 15 minutes in before I ever caught on.

I'll get the original with next months movie allowance.

The remake isn't bad.
Just no where near as fun as the original.
