If Lzzy falls off those shoes she dies at that height :)

Never heard the song before - nice rendition (even though the uploader was too close to the stage to get decent sound).

. . . also - listened to the Volbeat track - bit too "Metallica" for me - but certainly better than anything I've heard from them over the last few years.

Thanks for the posts.

It's a couple months old, but I just saw this.

Amazing version of Amen. Can't remember the last time I saw/heard Lzzy do a solo like this.

Well that made my day - I needed that . . . ta bud! :D

Ditto on the solo - not exactly complex but she's definitely getting more adventurous.

So pleased to see the band back on the road - it's their natural environment.

That's what I liked about it. I like soulful and slow solos.
Ones that really have some feeling to them.

I know. Another live Halestorm video.

But man, the vocals are just so powerful in this rendition of I Am The Fire

Yeah about the 2min mark when she goes all husky/resonant . . . can't be beaten.

This will be one of my fave songs until the day I pull an "exit stage left".

The parents of every member of this band must be SOOOOO proud.

I should really upload my videos from the April 2019 Vancouver gig at Chan Centre :-k

Thanks (again) for the heads-up.

One of their best songs... The original video is great!!!

It's unfortunate that they are "opening" for Evanescence.
According to a review, HS did 11 songs and Ev did 23.
Unfotunately, doesn't cut it for me. I'm hoping they will
do a headliner theater tour to support the new album.

More new Volbeat!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQ616r5fOPk

Temple Of Ekur

Think you might actually like this one Ian.
Not as crunchy as Shotgun Blues (which is a great highway cruising song)
This one is more of a smooth rocker with a bit more technical playing.

Yeah - better still :thumb2:

Love the song, but the vocals could do with being a bit chunkier/deeper/meatier. This'd sound great with Lzzy doing the vocals!

And now for something completely different . . . Eskimo Callboy

These fine folks get filed in the NSFW à la Steel Panther category. Different style to Panther but same positivity / humour / "up" vibe with a reasonable dose of "politically incorrect".

Never heard of them before today until BW&BK once again did what they do best (Lemmy-bless BW&BK).

I have no idea what I just watched / listened to Image Image . . . but both tracks made me smile from ear to ear (and are bookmarked), and I'm now trawling through their video back-catalogue !!!!!

So SOOOOOOOO funny . . . and so SOOOOOOO catchy. I defy you not to laugh, smile & bop your head.

. . . and not only, but also . . .

As we all know - ye olde YouTube makes suggestions based on your viewing history - and as a result of my research on the fellas in my previous post, the "evil powers that be" threw this in my face.
      • (* seems Google sometimes behaves nicely instead of suppressing information they disapprove of! *)

I've always loved the original John Myles song (1976) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PF6mk2Sq4yY

But THIS THIS I'd never heard of (the band OR the "adaptation").

Once again with the funnies (but you'll have to be a metalhead to get the references).

Very cleverly done, and must have taken them ages to pull together.
Wish my Sister was here to share this with . . . she loved the original too (memories of a road trip to Sussex many MANY years ago) and would have really appreciated this.

Wow. You've really been down a rabbit hole.
Thanks for those links though.

The 2nd one was pretty good, but I watched the first one 1st, so it didn't hit as hard as it could have. That first one was a total blast. Just complete bizarre fun. And yeah I was headbanging along to it. You just can't help yourself.

That was funny. :)
Yeah, I got most of the references. I am sure there are a few in there that I missed though. Might have to do a couple viewings on this one.

A bit of a coincidence.
One of the reactors I follow just did an Eskimo Callboy song
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8WRdKowlSc
Hypa Hypa

And when I looked further she did We Got the Moves a little over 2 months ago.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eg5SdrJhSeM

And Charismatic Voice did a reaction to
We Got the Moves a little over a week ago

LOL - yeah - I watched all those yesterday . . . seeing other peoples reactions has been half the fun of finding this group :D

The "Charismatic voice" lass used a different approach to normal (for her) and also shared the sex of the newborn she has due end of May 2022.
