Mott the Hoople drummer Dale Griffin dies at 67:

From Ian Hunter:

The last time I saw Buff was at the First MTH reunion in 2009. He was eloquent and aware and had a great time doing the encores. I’m so glad he was able to do that – Mott was his band. He not only played to the song – he played to the lyric. Our condolences to his partner Jean Smith. R.I.P. Terence Dale Griffin.
– Ian Hunter

I finally got to see Ian Hunter last year at a small club. He is still killing it at 75 years old! Sorry to hear about Griffin. Alzheimer's runs in my family so that hits close to home.
