I-POD? clueless person looking for portable music player
not sure what's the one to have, now that they are practically obsolete ...but fred flintstone needs an upgrade from burning CDs for travel...
what's the best for the buck? what kind of price should i expect to pay? how many tunes can be saved @ 16GB? 32GB? 64GB? 128GB?
as you can see, i need 411 from step one...
thanks in advance

I would go as big as you can afford. At least a 32 gig. $250 and about 7500 songs according to apple.

this link should let you compare them. Hope it helps.

Just use your smartphone or just use a smartphone if you don't have one. It's 2 0 1 6 !

Just get yourself a cheap used 32gb ipod Raydrz, see how you get on with it.
I use my smartphone but it drains the battery to much so I find I dont listen to as much music as I used to, was thinking of getting a used ipod myself just for music and audiobooks.

For a few bucks, this is the one i use for 10 years !! and still perfect. 8gb is good enough for something like 50 cd or more. Cheap and solid. That's a good choice if you don't want to spend a lot.
