I'm surprised no one has mentioned J. Geils passing away on April 11 at the age of 71. The J. Geils Band had quite a few hits back in the day.

I interviewed Producer Bill Szymczyk recently and he described The J. Geils Band as 'six comedians disguised as a rock band".
